To show solidarity with the peaceful and oppressed Tibet and its people we all should light a candle everyday until this first shameful Olympics comes to end.
The torture of Tibetan monks and its people by the Chinese communist authorities is the worse human rights violation of the century. All the sovereign nations, who are semi policing the world to make it a better place for everyone should do something about it.
Why the UN is not doing anything for Tibetans? Are the people of Tibet less important because they are not taking up arms against Chinese rule? How come the powerful countries are not talking about this? Well, someone needs to show the courage to speak up. I wish the US, the UK, the French and the mighty Germany take this note and raise this issue at various platforms for the sake of humanity.
